Christmas Scramble in Dunfanaghy

The annual christmas scramble was played in good conditions on sunday,with heavy rain on sunday morning it did,nt look good for golf but the skies cleared over dunfanaghy and a very enjoyable day was had by all.19 members travelled and the odd number meant that 5 three balls and 1 four ball would compete for the hampers,and it was the four ball of Dennis O Donnell,Michael Bonner,Kieran McGlynn and Martin Kelly who took top prize.The orchard inn was the venue for the christmas meal,and a special thanks to the staff of the orchard inn for their service and hospitality,At the prize giving the Captain thanked those members who travelled and wished everyone a very merry christmas.
